 History and Accomplishments

Put our experience to work for you. experience includes a wide range of business applications, including data base, manufacturing, accounting, and scientific applications. Working for a wide range of companies and organizations, we have been designing custom software since 1972.

was established in 2001 as an international consulting and contract programming firm located on Vashon Island in the Salish Sea by John Cornelison, a professional software developer with three decades of experience.

Since then, John has worked in a variety of settings, on a number of cutting edge applications, and even circled the world with his wife Kim to celebrate the new millennium!

Notable projects (among various customized web sites and installers) include:

  • Military Health System, Western Region MEDCOM - Healthcare IT Architect designing a Federal Health Architecture pilot for the South Sound Health Information Exchange. Served as HIE, NwHIN, Direct Project, SSO & PHR subject matter expert.
  • Technodyne LLC - Architect S-PLUS Enterprise Statistics Server integration for Morgan Stanley
  • Microsoft - Applied Security Development Lifecycle methodology to Winhlp32. Trained co-workers on SAL Annotations, PREfix, PREfast, Visual Studio/Product Studio, SharePoint & MSI.
  • Softrade International - Create a multi-language and multi-component Microsoft Installer project using InstallShield Developer 7.0
  • AccessVia - Designing, developing, documenting and debugging custom ISAPI component and filters, COM component that integrated with Microsoft's Internet Information Server
  • Insightful Corp./MathSoft/StatSci - Port major Win16 application to Win32, expose methods and existing extensive API via COM, use these to create a bridge between ESRI's ArcView application and S-PLUS's Spatial Analysis module, project lead for this, including conducting full product cycle.
  • IBM - Porting the Windows NT 3.5-4 setup functionality, the Software Development Kit, the Device Driver Kit, the printer driver code, and more onto the Power PC platform for IBM, working at the Microsoft campus with the complete Microsoft source code with check-in privileges
  • Warner-Lambert - Installing the StatServer package, debugging their current projects, and presenting a multi-day training session
  • University of Minnesota, Computer Center - Deploying custom graphics software, writing graphics device drivers, instructing staff and students on the use of the University's Graphic Center
  • Pyramid Learning - Study recommending strategies for "web-enabling" and exposing methods and properties for their custom, molecular-modeling and visualizion tool using ATL and ActiveX interfaces
  • Minnesota Department of Health - Redesign of the Department's sample analysis and reporting database
  • Seattle Lab - Port UniVerse database system onto Windows NT, requiring work with the earliest Windows NT 3.1 beta software
  • ABC Accounting - Installing QuickBooks accounting package, handling initial conversion, training staff on its use
  • Condar/Camet- Development of custom application for materials development for their catalyst manufacturing line, advised them on selection of hardware for accounting and office management
  • Dimensional Medicine - Graphics development for a high-tech start-up doing edge extraction from 2D cat scans and MRIs and reconstructing a 3D interactive wire mesh and shaded surface reconstruction for use by surgeons.
  • Interactive Management Systems - Develop & maintain custom database and financial (AP, AR, GL, payroll) packages
  • ESRI - Study to explore integrating statistical methods from S-PLUS into ESRI's ArcView and ArcInfo software
  • Waratah - Reviewed the technical feasibility of extending an existing design of experiments module through provisioning it with an ActiveX set of interfaces allowing programmatic control from other programs
  • BackOffice Professional Association - Served as founding board member and leader of the WWW Special Interest Group for several years. Developed their initial web site
